Why Valiente

Why be interested in Valiente?

Valiente is well-positioned to address an un-served need in Southeast Asia's renewable energy market for high-quality Ready-to-Build (RTB) projects. Our team is differentiated by its track record developing, constructing and operating wind, solar and battery storage across two successful developer / IPP platforms in Asia Pacific. We have a deep understanding of the rigor and risk tolerance of infrastructure investors, and the mindset and culture of developers, communities and government authorities in the Philippines and Vietnam.

The Problem

  • Large amounts of capital have been committed to invest in renewables in Southeast Asia — particularly the Philippines and Vietnam — by global infrastructure funds and IPP platforms actively looking for RTB projects that are in short supply.

The Solution

  • Valiente partners with strong local developers in the Philippines and Vietnam and brings capital discipline and technical rigour to convert early stage projects into bankable, investible RTB projects with land, grid, permits and offtake secured.
